Job summary

Power Drives, Inc. in Buffalo, NY is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain, upgrade and repair equipment and facilities. The role is 100% onsite with a daytime schedule and competitive hourly pay of $30.00-$40.00 plus a monthly incentive.

The ideal candidate will have a two-year engineering/tech degree and at least five years in an industrial setting. You will lead maintenance projects, troubleshoot electrical controls including PLCs, read schematics, and work with facilities systems.

Qualifications

• 2 year Engineering/Technology degree or equivalent.
• 5 years of successful experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
• Ability to lift 40lbs.
• Willing to work on-site and in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Preventive maintenance on all manufacturing equipment.
• Manage PM system and create/close work orders.
• Coordinate with Operations on project feasibility and costing.
• Liaise with vendors and contractors for materials and upgrades.
• Prioritize repairs based on production needs.
• Participate in safety and 5S activities.
