Job summary

Calance seeks a Plant Engineering (PLE) Construction Coordinator for a 12+ month onsite role in San Antonio. You will manage contractors, administer contracts, and drive progress on industrial facilities projects.

The position requires coordinating between owner, contractors, and A/E teams, with a focus on safety and schedule adherence. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in construction coordination, experience with Primavera/AutoCAD, and an engineering-related degree or equivalent supervisory

Qualifications

5+ years as a Construction Coordinator or managing projects in industrial construction/facilities.
Experience in cost-estimating and scheduling.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and Microsoft Project.
Experience with Primavera, Autodesk Build, BuildingConnected, and/or AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

Manage general contractors and subcontractors, testing agencies, schedules for facilities projects.
Administer construction contracts and conduct on-site inspections for plan compliance.
Direct activities of contractors to support project schedule and specs.
Research and plan building projects with knowledge of design, procedures, and materials.
Present status reports and coordinate contract changes for owner approval.
Coordinate between owner, contractor, and A/E firm.
