Job summary

TekWissen Group is seeking a Construction Coordinator to support a major automotive facility project in San Antonio, TX. This temporary onsite assignment focuses on coordinating field activities and ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence.

Responsibilities include managing contractors, reviewing change orders, maintaining progress reports, and producing handover documentation. 5+ years in construction/program management within automotive environments is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years construction/project management experience

Responsibilities

• Oversee general contractor and subcontractor field construction activities
• Ensure compliance with Client Construction Safety Requirements and maintain incident-free projects
• Complete daily field status reports for management review
• Review change orders, validate scope and costs, submit for owner approval
• Coordinate between owner, contractor and A/E firm
• Support weekly general contractor meetings; document minutes and action items
• Coordinate as-built, operations & maintenance manuals and training to user groups and support departments
• Review, prepare and coordinate completion of punch-list activities and acceptance testing procedures
