Job summary

ITAC, a nationwide design-build firm, is seeking a Construction Manager to lead field and administrative efforts on industrial projects. This is a seconded, full-time contract role working on-site with clients at West Haven, CT and Piscataway, NJ.

You will develop schedules and budgets, track costs, support estimating and risk mitigation, and drive continuous improvement. A Bachelor’s in Construction or Engineering and 3–5+ years in construction management are required; knowledge of lean, Six

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Construction or Engineering Discipline preferred.
• 3-5+ years in construction management or construction administration.
• Experience building schedules.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and applicable safety standards.
• Knowledge of permitting through AHJs.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets for projects.
• Track process improvement costs and report variances.
• Assist in execution planning, risk identification, and mitigation strategies for production readiness.
• Participate in estimating, cost analysis, and sales support for industrialization projects.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and professional development activities.
• Communication with multiple project managers.
