Job summary

Athletico is seeking an Industrial Wellness Specialist to manage on-site services at an industrial client site, including injury prevention, job analysis, ergonomic assessments, and coordination with physicians.

The role involves leading training sessions, designing post-offer programs, and delivering comprehensive preventive care in a 24/7 shipyard environment, with strong collaboration with physical therapists and client teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Athletic Training or related field.
• NATABOC Certification in good standing.
• State licensure as Athletic Trainer in practicing state.
• CSCS or other national cert. preferred.
• Ergonomic certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide injury prevention and behavioral-based safety training at the site.
• Lead training sessions for individuals, small groups, or classrooms.
• Conduct job analyses, post-offer design, and ergonomic assessments.
• Coordinate and deliver orientation for new employees with client programs.
• Collaborate with Athletico PTs to design return-to-work programs.
• Support internal departments in developing client programs.
