Job summary

Daikin Applied is seeking a Service Technician II to diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance for commercial and industrial HVAC equipment on site in Ft. Myers, FL.

The role covers rooftop units, chillers, boilers, and related components, with opportunities to mentor Level I technicians and grow troubleshooting skills. This position offers hands-on field service, safety compliance, and ongoing training through Daikin Learning, with customer interaction for clear status updates and

Qualifications

• Must have 3+ years related experience with increasing responsibility or equivalent education/experience.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• HVAC certificate or technical training is required.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• No work visa sponsorship for this position.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on commercial/industrial HVAC equipment.
• Service rooftop units, water source heat pumps, AHUs, chillers, boilers, and related components.
• Lead Level I technicians through hands-on demonstrations and troubleshooting.
• Record billing, timecards, inventory, and service reports in a timely manner.
• Maintain safety standards and clean work area in compliance with policies.
• Coordinate with customers, providing status updates before, during, and after service calls.
• Participate in available training through Daikin Learning and regional trainers.
• Ensure adherence to OSHA and Daikin safety policies.
