Job summary

Qcells North America seeks a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to work with leaders on HR strategy aligned with business goals. The candidate will excel in communication, problem solving, and partnership, with labor law, compliance, and employee relations experience.

This is an onsite role based in Irvine, CA or San Francisco, CA. You will guide talent management, performance, and policy implementation, collaborate with Legal and Talent Acquisition, and coach managers on HR practices while

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business, or related field.
• 5+ years in HR with a focus on business partnering and strategic HR initiatives.
• Self-driven with strong relationships and influence to drive decisions.
• Able to facilitate difficult conversations and resolve conflicts.
• Excellent communication across all levels; knowledge of employment laws.
• MS Office 365 core apps including Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with HRIS systems, preferably Workday.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance to leaders on talent management, performance, organizational effectiveness, employee relations, compensation, benefits, and HR policies.
• Collaborate with leaders to implement HR strategies aligning with business objectives and engagement.
• Conduct investigations into employee complaints and take appropriate action.
• Develop relationships across the organization to ensure a strong HR presence.
• Partner with Legal to develop and update HR policies compliant with laws.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition to attract and develop top talent.
• Lead or participate in HR projects such as organizational design and change management.
• Coach managers on HR best practices and provide training as needed.
• Work with HR Operations to deliver timely employee-related requests.
