Job summary

Sur La Table is seeking an HR Manager for the Brownsburg Distribution Center to lead full-cycle recruiting, onboarding, and workforce administration. You will support compliance, safety, and data-driven workforce decisions for a large hourly population on-site.

You'll establish yourself in 6–12 months as the on-site HR partner, streamline onboarding, and deliver reports that inform BDC leadership decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of progressive HR experience; distribution center or warehouse background preferred.
• Experience managing full-cycle recruiting, including high-volume and seasonal hiring.
• Knowledge of FMLA and leave administration; strong employment law understanding.
• Ability to translate AI capabilities into business outcomes and drive decisions.
• Proficiency with Paylocity or similar HRIS.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full-cycle recruiting for Brownsburg DC roles with high volume seasonality.
• Manage onboarding, new-hire experience, and initial Day 1 readiness.
• Administer attendance, timecards, leaves, workers' comp, and compliance tasks.
• Generate HR reports (headcount, OSHA, attendance) and provide insights to leadership.
• Serve as daily HR contact for employees and managers; escalate issues as needed.
