Capitol Bridge LLC in Columbia, SC is seeking an on-site Human Resources Operations Leader to own employee relations and the on-site employee experience. You will partner with program and operations leaders to support performance and morale, while ensuring policy compliance and a strong HR presence on the floor.

The role requires hands-on HR leadership for a Columbia site, with a focus on investigations, coaching, and real-time engagement. This position is full-time and on-site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including employee relations and investigations.
• Experience serving as on-site HR resource for hourly/high-volume workforce.
• Working knowledge of Federal and South Carolina employment laws and regulations (FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEO).
• PHR/SPHR/SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary on-site HR point of contact and business partner for the Columbia site.
• Conduct thorough investigations of employee relations matters with documentation.
• Make determinations on corrective action and separations with the Director of HR for high-risk matters.
• Coach program managers and team leads on performance, attendance, conduct, and documentation.
• Maintain a visible daily presence with floor walks and real-time accessibility to employees and leaders.
• Attend weekly program and operations meetings to align HR with business needs.
• Monitor morale and raise risks to site leaders and HR leadership early.
• Lead the on-site new hire experience and onboarding before transition to program leaders.
• Plan and lead site events, recognition programs, and employee engagement activities.
• Ensure policy consistency and compliance with applicable employment laws.
