Job summary

CTS Corporation in Cranston, RI is seeking an onsite Human Resources Manager to lead the SyQwest site HR, partnering with operations and AMS HR to align people priorities with site goals and CTS integration.

You will be hands-on in employee relations, compliance, engagement, talent planning, and core HR operations, coaching leaders and driving culture, with a strong emphasis on process reliability and data integrity.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of employee relations, investigations, performance management, employment law, policy interpretation, compensation, benefits, leave administration, workers’ compensation, payroll validation, timekeeping, and HR systems.
• Ability to build credibility with discretion, confidentiality, consistency and follow-through.
• Influence without direct authority and coach leaders through complex people, culture, performance, and change management.
• Hands-on operational mindset balancing strategic HR partnership with detailed execution in a manufacturing site.
• Strong documentation discipline and data integrity, handling sensitive matters with fairness and escalation.
• Experience supporting culture integration, engagement routines, leadership cadence, talent reviews, succession planning, retention planning, and workforce planning.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Teams and 365; use technology to improve HR communications, analytics, and processes.
• Bachelor’s degree requirement and 6–8 years of HR experience in manufacturing or similar environment.
• Experience with HRIS data, lifecycle transactions, payroll validation, timekeeping, leave administration, and workers’ compensation coordination.
• SuccessFactors and Dayforce experience preferred; Copilot or AI tools experience preferred.
• Limited travel as needed for CTS meetings, training, or site integration activities.

Responsibilities

• Act as onsite HR leader to CTS SyQwest site leadership and partner with operations, leaders, and AMS HR.
• Align people priorities with site stabilization, business performance, and CTS integration objectives.
• Maintain a visible HR presence with follow-through on employee and leadership issues.
• Coach leaders on communication, accountability, performance expectations, engagement, and CTS leadership standards.
• Lead site culture and engagement efforts with listening mechanisms and action planning.
• Provide front-line employee relations support including investigations, conflict resolution, and performance concerns.
• Ensure consistent communication and application of CTS standards of conduct.
• Partner on compliance, compensation, leaves, workers’ compensation, and risk mitigation with Legal, Corporate HR, and Safety.
• Support workforce planning: recruitment, talent review, succession, retention, onboarding and development planning.
• Ensure timely execution of core HR processes: changes, HRIS, timekeeping, payroll validation, benefits inquiries, surveys, recognition, and communications.
• Lead annual site compensation planning with Corporate HR guidance and action completion.
• Coordinate shared HR Administrator support while staying hands-on with daily employee support.
