Job summary

Ichor Systems, Inc. seeks a full-time HR Generalist to support the IMG business unit in the San Francisco Bay Area. You will provide full-cycle HR services across five sites, focusing on frontline and management roles, and ensure compliance with California and Federal employment laws.

Reporting to the Sr. Manager HRBP, you will collaborate with site leaders on hiring, performance management, ER, and employee engagement, while maintaining accurate HRIS data and enabling effective workforce

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or related field.
• 5+ years of HR Generalist experience in frontline operations environment, preferably manufacturing.
• Strong command of Federal, State (California) and municipal employment laws.
• Ability to perform legally compliant and best-practice HR duties across full-cycle HR activities.
• Ability to manage leaves and accommodations ensuring legal compliance.
• Experience with administering HR data (entry and reporting) in an Enterprise HRIS system.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).
• Full-time on-site role with occasional travel to IMG sites (San Leandro, Livermore, Fremont, Santa Cruz).
• HR certification preferred or in progress (PHR or SHRM-CP).

Responsibilities

• Provide HR support across all functions and worksites.
• Maintain on-site presence to build partnerships and understand workforce needs.
• Advise managers on hiring, performance management, ER, engagement, and retention.
• Partner with management to build positive site culture and retention strategies.
• Ensure workplace practices comply with state and federal law and company policies.
• Support time-keeping policy adherence and compliance monitoring.
• Manage ER cases end-to-end including intake, investigation, risk assessment, and resolution.
• Partner with third-party and in-house benefits teams on HR processes.
• Support leave management and return-to-work actions.
• Coordinate with Talent Acquisition on site hiring and onboarding processes.
• Onboard employees with focus on experience, consistency, and retention.
• Track workforce metrics such as turnover, attendance, overtime, and pay.
• Maintain employee life cycle in Oracle HRIS and other systems; perform audits and data integrity checks.
