Job summary

SPX Technologies in Missouri is seeking an HR Coordinator to support a manufacturing site of approximately 250 employees, with a primary focus on hourly associates. This role is 100% onsite and reports to the HR leader at the facility, spending meaningful time on the shop floor to build relationships and ensure smooth HR operations.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience in Human Resources, admin support, manufacturing settings.
• Strong organizational skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to build rapport with hourly associates and cross-functional teams.
• Comfort with on-site manufacturing operations and regular shop-floor presence.
• Effective communication of HR processes and policies.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a consistent on-site presence on the production floor to support employees and leadership.
• Handle timekeeping, attendance, and payroll data accuracy and deadlines.
• Coordinate onboarding, background checks, and new hire paperwork.
• Support employee engagement, events, and site communications.
• Maintain HR bulletin boards and site communications.
• Track onboarding, compliance, and employee documentation; support audits and data cleaning.
