Job summary

RTX is seeking a System Administrator level P1 for High-Performance Computing (HPC) based in Tucson, Arizona. This role requires providing HPC administration in a heterogeneous Windows and Linux environment, supporting the engineering community through troubleshooting and system performance enhancements.

Qualified candidates will possess a bachelor’s degree and relevant experience, along with an active U.S. government issued secret security clearance. The position offers a salary range of $57,200 to $108,800, with diverse benefits including medical, dental, and 401(k) plans.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a bachelor’s degree and less than 2 years of relevant experience or 4 years of relevant technical experience.
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued secret security clearance is required prior to start date.
• Experience in Windows and/or Linux server environments including system hardening.

Responsibilities

• Administer HPC in a Microsoft Windows and Red Hat Enterprise Linux environment.
• Develop and implement technologies based on industry best practices.
• Resolve complex technical problems including system integration.
