Job summary

Raytheon is seeking a System Administrator for High Performance Computing in Tucson, Arizona. This role requires an active U.S. government issued Secret security clearance and an emphasis on Windows and Linux server environments. The candidate will work to resolve technical challenges in a fast-paced environment, utilizing thorough knowledge of system tuning and cybersecurity compliance. Relocation support is provided for eligible candidates. A bachelor’s degree in IT or relevant experience is needed, along with troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a bachelor’s degree and less than 2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in directory services management, and system hardening.
• Must be able to obtain required certifications within 6 months of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Work as a team member in a fast-paced technological environment.
• Help develop and implement new technologies based upon industry best practices.
• Use troubleshooting techniques to resolve technical problems.
• Perform OS tuning to maximize system performance.
