Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise Company invites students to join its Hardware Service Engineer Intern program. This onsite role will have you working primarily from an HPE partner/customer office, gaining hands-on experience with HPC compute, network, and storage hardware.

You'll learn to troubleshoot hardware components, review tickets, and collaborate with teammates using tools like Teams and Slack while developing professional skills in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or a related technical field.
• Familiarity with programming languages or technical tools relevant to the role.
• Willingness to work onsite and participate in hands-on repair and maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform repair and maintenance on HPC compute, network, and storage hardware.
• Review tickets for actions needed and document steps taken.
• Collaborate with team members via in-person, phone, email, Teams, and Slack.
• Assist with system installation activities and learn through hands-on training.
• Operate hand tools and low-power tools as required.
• Lift/move parts and equipment safely up to 50 lbs, with help up to 75 lbs.
