Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise in the United States (Texas area) is seeking interns to join a diverse team of electrical engineers supporting the design, validation, scaling, deployment, and support of high performance computing systems. The role focuses on characterizing boards and circuits for HPC platforms.

You will work with senior engineers to design and validate PCAs, bring them up in a lab, and document issues from discovery to closure while collaborating with task teams on complex analyses.

Qualifications

• High School Degree; 3rd year of university completed in a technical field.
• Course work in digital and/or analog circuit design is desired.
• Experience with electrical lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, load tools, multimeters is desired.

Responsibilities

• Design and/or validate new and derivative PCAs based on system and board design requirements.
• Bring-up, debug, and validate PCAs in an engineering test lab environment.
• Track and document issue discovery, investigation plans/results, issue resolution, and issue closure in issue tracking databases.
• Work independently and/or participate in task teams addressing complex system/problem analysis.
