Job summary

Millennium Hotels & Resorts’ M Social Sunnyvale is seeking an Engineer II (General) to perform maintenance across guest rooms, public areas, and buildings. You’ll handle routine repairs, preventive maintenance, and respond to guest requests to ensure a safe and comfortable environment.

The role requires hands-on skills across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building systems, with a commitment to safety, quality, and guest service.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel engineering or facilities maintenance experience.
• Strong troubleshooting across HVAC, electrical, plumbing and general building systems.
• Ability to perform routine repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Excellent attention to detail and safety awareness.
• Good communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and corrective maintenance throughout the hotel.
• Respond to guest room, public area, and back-of-house maintenance requests promptly.
• Inspect equipment and building areas for maintenance concerns.
• Document completed work and communicate unresolved issues to Engineering leadership.
• Assist with preventive maintenance programs and property improvements.
• Maintain tools and work areas in a clean, safe condition.
