Job summary

MSS Sunnyvale, operated by Millennium Hotels & Resorts, seeks an Engineer II (General) to perform broad maintenance across guest rooms, public areas, and building systems. You’ll handle HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and preventive maintenance while ensuring guest comfort and safety.

The role requires hands-on experience, strong troubleshooting, and collaboration with engineering leadership to maintain high service standards. Evening and weekend flexibility is a plus in this environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant engineering, hotel maintenance, facilities, or skilled trades experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and general building systems.
• Ability to read and follow equipment manuals and technical instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance throughout the hotel and respond to maintenance requests.
• Inspect equipment, fixtures, and building areas for maintenance concerns.
• Perform repairs and adjustments within training and qualifications.
• Document completed work and communicate unresolved issues to Engineering leadership.
• Follow safety policies and procedures and use PPE.
