Job summary

Tri Pointe Homes Charlotte is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead the homebuilding process from permitting to delivery and warranty. You will coordinate trade partners, safety, schedules, and quality to deliver high customer satisfaction.

The role requires strong construction knowledge, blueprint reading, and proficiency with MS Office; you will collaborate with sales, purchasing, and homeowners to ensure on-time, on-budget performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum 4 years of construction experience or related education.
• Strong knowledge of home construction and building codes.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural/structural plans and soil reports.
• Proficient with MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Project).

Responsibilities

• Manage trade partners and consultants, approve changes and POs; oversee contract adherence.
• Oversee onsite safety and enforce safety protocols and actions.
• Schedule construction activities, deliveries, inspections to meet timelines and budgets.
• Plan starts and adjust schedules based on field conditions to meet company goals.
• Manage the home-building process from permitting to delivery and warranty.
• Ensure site compliance with codes, quality standards, environmental laws, and safety programs.
• Serve as primary on-site representative to trade partners, customers, and inspectors.
• Coordinate daily site logistics and communicate with sales, purchasing, homeowners and consultants.
