Job summary

North Knoxville Medical Center is seeking a Supply Chain Technician to ensure accurate and efficient flow of supplies. You will receive, stock, and distribute materials, maintain PAR levels, and perform regular inventory counts to support patient care and operations.

This role requires attention to detail, ability to follow procedures, and safe handling of medical supplies in a fast-paced hospital setting. Onsite role with standard full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience using inventory calculations and par levels.
• Familiar with units of measure (e.g., mL, grams) and basic math.
• Healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receives, inspects, and processes incoming shipments, reporting discrepancies.
• Stocks storeroom and warehouse items using FIFO.
• Maintains safety stock levels by reviewing min/max.
• Performs physical and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Picks and stages supplies based on requisitions and labels.
• Delivers items to departments with signatures.
• Ensures storeroom and warehouse are clean and compliant.
• Enters data into ERP or inventory system for receipts and adjustments.
• Supports inventory processes and data validation.
• Maintains regular attendance and complies with policies.
