Job summary

Indiana University Health is seeking an Improvement Leader to join the Ball Memorial Hospital team. This onsite role in Muncie includes periodic travel to Fort Wayne and focuses on leading lean improvements across the organization.

You will partner with leaders to complete improvement projects on time, analyze processes with data, and apply PDCA thinking to achieve breakthrough results while promoting standardization and change across departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of experience is required.
• Requires 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• 3-5 years experience leading process improvement in a Lean enterprise or equivalent experience within IU Health.
• Requires basic proficiency in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Partners with and develops leaders and team members to ensure on-time completion of improvement projects and delivers on expected results.
• Analyzes current conditions of processes using data and lean management capabilities with leaders and team members.
• Applies PDCA thinking to achieve breakthrough improvement in support of the business unit's strategic goals.
• Assists departments in best practice standardization and spread, utilizing lean and change management methodology.
