Company in the greater Chicagoland area is seeking a Material Specialist in the Inventory Management department. This 100% onsite position requires interaction with Medical Center departments and data entry into MMIS.

You will maintain inventory levels, prepare returns, and coordinate with departments for deliveries and issues. Essential duties include counting stock, processing shipments, and ensuring accurate receipt recording within the Materials Management System, while providing strong

Formación

• High School diploma or GED.
• Ability to prioritize assignments and organize work without direct supervision.
• Knowledge of personal computers; handheld devices preferred.
• Good mathematical ability.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a stressful setting and provide excellent customer service.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and push 450 pounds on wheels for short distances.

Responsabilidades

• Count and assess department supply needs; perform data entry and create orders.
• Process and deliver packages from carriers and prime vendors.
• Prepare and stage returns.
• Answer warehouse phones; enter orders into MMIS; manage pneumatic tube orders.
• Maintain inventory storage rooms and nurse servers per stock locations.
• Receive and verify shipments; enter receipts into MMIS.
• Log and deliver packages and medical gas tanks; obtain signatures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
