Job summary

Minnesota Habitat for Humanity AmeriCorps Program seeks an Onsite Volunteer Facilitator to support site supervisors, volunteers and Habitat homebuyers in building and rehabilitating homes in Saint Paul, MN.

The role requires flexibility, the ability to manage materials, lead educational activities, participate in AmeriCorps events, and perform administrative tasks while upholding safety and program guidelines.

Qualifications

• Age 18+ and U.S. citizenship or eligible resident.
• High school diploma or GED; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to site supervisor and volunteers on construction sites.
• Facilitate on-site educational activities about affordable housing.
• Lead volunteer crews and communicate assignments to volunteers.
• Attend AmeriCorps orientation, retreats and program events.
• Perform administrative duties and manage basic paperwork.
