AmeriCorps is seeking a Volunteer Services Coordinator to help recruit and train volunteers, while promoting Habitat for Humanity's mission in Americus, Georgia.

This full-time position provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in community outreach and housing initiatives. The role includes various program benefits such as health coverage, training, and an education award upon completion of service.

Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED and be at least 18 years old. Applications accepted from 07/02/2026 to 07/31/2027.

Member Duties

• The volunteer services coordinator helps recruit, train, schedule, and recognize volunteers while growing the volunteer base and advancing individual and group partnerships.
• Market within the community to recruit new volunteers.
• Develop new events and opportunities for volunteers to engage with the mission of Habitat for Humanity.
