Job summary

Southwest Iowa Renewable Energy, LLC in Council Bluffs, IA, seeks a Commodities Support Specialist (Scale/Probe) to weigh trucks, direct loading/unloading, and manage data entry in a fast-paced plant. This onsite role requires occasional Saturdays and shifts between 6:00a-6:00p, with trainer/fill-in duties.

The position offers a sign-on bonus up to $2,500 and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, PTO, holidays, 401k, and more.

Qualifications

• Excellent phone and verbal skills required.
• Exemplary customer service abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Office 365 knowledge; Excel experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Flexible schedule with extended hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Review tickets for accuracy and grain grades.
• Weigh all trucks entering and leaving the plant and direct loading/unloading.
• Scan contracts and slips in a timely manner.
• Enter customer and product data into accounting software.
• Maintain a clean and presentable probe/scale area.
• Document SOP contents as they develop.
• Provide excellent customer service and cross-department communication.
• Train scale and probe house positions as assigned.
• Support safety, timely operations, and regulatory compliance.
• Wear required PPE.
