Job summary

Northrop Grumman’s Chandler, AZ site is seeking a Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GN&C) Manager - Level 1 to lead an engineering organization on high-consequence GN&C delivery. The role is 100% onsite, managing 8–20 GN&C engineers across programs while aligning workforce health and execution with strategic priorities.

The position requires a Bachelor's (or Master’s) in a relevant field and an active U.S. Government Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Requires active U.S. Government Secret security clearance.
• Experience leading engineering teams with workforce execution and delivery accountability.
• GN&C experience for missile-based systems with depth in guidance, autopilot/control, and tracking or state estimation.

Responsibilities

• Lead an engineering organization for high-consequence GN&C delivery across programs.
• Develop and mentor managers, tech leads, and engineers; oversee performance and staffing.
• Provide senior technical leadership for missile GN&C systems including guidance, autopilot, tracking, and verification.
