Job summary

Catalent Pharma Solutions in Baltimore, MD is seeking an Engineering Technician for on-site GMP maintenance and equipment support. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain bioprocess systems including fermenters, bioreactors, and filtration, while documenting work orders in CMMS and ensuring compliance with quality procedures.

The role requires a high school diploma (associates/bachelors preferred) and 3+ years in GMP or biotech maintenance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of related GMP/Bio-Pharma maintenance/engineering experience.
• Clean room experience or FDA-regulated industry exposure is preferred.
• Ability to perform mechanical/electrical repairs and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and develop engineering solutions for maintenance, QA, safety, and failure investigations.
• Work independently on projects and support day-to-day manufacturing operations.
• Troubleshoot and repair bioprocess equipment including fermenters and bioreactors.
• Maintain PM programs, generate PM SOPs, and manage spare parts inventory.
• Create and update documentation for equipment life cycle and maintenance records.
• Work in cleanrooms with full gowning and adhere to safety procedures.
