Job summary

Omm IT Solutions is seeking a senior AI engineer to design and implement generative models, including transformer-based systems, in a 100% onsite role in Woodlawn, MD. You will lead model design, training, and deployment, ensuring robust data pipelines and ethical AI practices.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of hands-on AI development, strong Python and ML/DL skills, and works well in collaborative settings. No visa sponsorship; on-site requirement applies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Math/Engineering or related field.
• Masters/Doctorate may substitute for experience.
• Minimum 5 years hands-on experience designing and implementing AI models (Generative AI preferred).
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust (contract requirement).

Responsibilities

• Design and develop generative models (GANs, VAEs, transformers/LLMs).
• Fine-tune and optimize pre-trained models for tasks and datasets.
• Craft prompts to guide AI models for specific outputs.
• Build AI pipelines for data prep, model training, deployment, monitoring.
• Integrate generative AI models into existing software applications.
• Stay updated with latest generative AI research and techniques.
• Consider ethics, bias, misuse, and responsible AI practices.
• All other duties as assigned or directed.
