This onsite role manages a team of approximately eight mechanics across first and second shifts, prioritizing preventive maintenance and DOT-related repairs.

The ideal candidate will provide technical guidance, ensure safety, and maintain accurate records, while coordinating parts and vendor support to keep the shop running efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Lead approximately eight mechanics across first and second shifts.
• Prioritize preventive maintenance, inspections, repairs, and daily assignments.
• Provide technical guidance and assist with diagnostics when needed.
• Maintain accurate work orders, service records, and DOT compliance.
• Monitor repair quality, technician productivity, fleet availability, and shop safety.
• Coordinate parts, inventory, vendors, and outside repair services.
• Train, coach, and support technicians while maintaining accountability for performance.
