Job summary

SpaceX is seeking Software Engineers to join the application software team, delivering mission-critical software used to accelerate production and flight. You will own substantial parts of the software, solve complex problems, and collaborate across teams to support Starship and Starlink initiatives.

The role emphasizes practical design, testing, CI/CD, and performance tuning in a fast-paced, on-site environment. Aerospace experience is not required, but collaboration and impact matter highly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math, or scientific discipline; OR 2+ years of professional software development experience in lieu of a degree.
• Experience in full stack development.

Responsibilities

• Develop highly reliable software solutions used across SpaceX.
• Create new applications that improve SpaceX operations.
• Build prototypes to prove key design concepts and quantify constraints.
• Own all aspects of software engineering and product development.
• Deep dive into users’ problems to find efficient solutions.
• Contribute in architecture, design, and code reviews.
