Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer, Manufacturing to join the application software team and build mission critical applications used in Starship manufacturing and Starlink operations.

You will own software engineering and product development, work with diverse teams, and design scalable systems with a strong emphasis on reliability and performance. Experience with full stack development, Docker, Kubernetes, and modern front-end frameworks is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math, or scientific discipline; OR 2+ years of professional experience building software in lieu of a degree
• 1+ years of experience in full stack development
• Proficiency in Python, C#.NET, Go, Scala, Java, or similar OO language
• 1+ years of experience building single page web applications
• Experience with version control, CI/CD concepts
• Experience building scalable software systems
• Strong testing, deployment and monitoring knowledge
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Front-end experience with Angular or React
• Database experience with PostgreSQL or SQL Server

Responsibilities

• Develop highly reliable software solutions used across SpaceX
• Create new applications to improve operations
• Build prototypes to validate design concepts and quantify constraints
• Own all aspects of software engineering and product development
• Analyze users' problems to craft efficient solutions
• Collaborate on architecture, design and code reviews
