Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer (Application Software) to join the core software team responsible for mission critical applications across SpaceX. You will own software projects from concept through delivery, building systems that support Starship manufacturing, Starlink operations and customer-facing services.

The role requires onsite work and a collaborative, problem-solving mindset in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or 2+ years of software experience required.
• Experience in full stack development.
• Proficiency in Python, C#.NET, Go, Scala or Java.
• Frontend experience with Angular/React is valued.
• Experiences with CI/CD, testing, and software design are expected.

Responsibilities

• Develop highly reliable software solutions used across SpaceX.
• Create new applications to improve operations.
• Build prototypes to confirm concepts and constraints.
• Own all aspects of software engineering and product development.
• Analyze user problems to craft efficient solutions.
• Participate in architecture, design, and code reviews.
