Job summary

Information Systems Solutions, Inc. is seeking a full-time, onsite software and database engineer to support CSD enterprise systems.

You will ensure compliance with government standards, perform full-stack development, database administration, testing, and RMF documentation, and coordinate with the Government Task Lead. Qualified candidates hold a BS in CS/SE, 5+ years of systems design experience, DoD 8140 DCWF Intermediate, and a Secret Clearance, with strong expertise in .NET, SQL Server,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering (ABET-accredited).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in systems design of major IT systems.
• DoD 8140 Cyber Workforce qualifications for Software Developer (DCWF 621), Intermediate level.
• Secret Clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Support development, enhancement, and maintenance of enterprise applications and databases.
• Follow Government SDP, SRS, and approved project documentation.
• Obtain Government Task Lead approval for preliminary designs before development.
• Inform Task Lead of potential impacts of changes and participate in requirements discussions.
• Conduct comprehensive and regression testing prior to Verification and Validation testing.
• Resolve bugs per project schedules; treat missing requirements as bugs.
• Enter required modifications into configuration management for releases.
• Adhere to Government-led prioritization and versioning for issues and modifications.
• Ensure development, testing, and deployment meet the approved schedule.
• Test deployments in staging environments and report issues within 24 hours.
• Manage databases (backups, cleanup, upgrades, recovery) as directed.
• Coordinate website platform/framework/tool upgrades with Government timelines.
• Provide after-hours or weekend support as needed.
• Prepare queries, scripts, and reports for data access, analysis, and forensics.
• Complete RMF documentation to support certification and accreditation.
• Attend meetings with Government Task Lead and COR; provide reports and minutes.
