System One seeks a Full Stack C/C++ Developer for aerospace and defense systems in Huntsville, AL. This contract-to-hire role focuses on flight software, software design, testing, and maintenance across embedded and real-time components.

You will design full-stack architectures for missile system applications, participate in code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with government stakeholders to ensure safety, cybersecurity, and RMF compliance onsite.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field with GPA 3.0+.
• 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Solid C/C++ (mid-level+) expertise.
• Experience with Python and Java.
• Strong knowledge of software architecture patterns.
• Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement full-stack software architectures for missile system applications.
• Participate in technical/design/code reviews to ensure quality and compliance.
• Support decisions on tools, frameworks, and development approaches.
• Build modular, portable, and maintainable software.
• Mentor and support junior engineers.
