Colonial Williamsburg Foundation is seeking a motivated Recruiter to join our team in Williamsburg, VA. This onsite role supports full-cycle recruitment, partnering with hiring managers to identify and hire qualified talent.

The recruiter will source, screen, interview, and coordinate candidates, ensuring a positive candidate experience while maintaining accurate ATS records and compliance with policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Communications, or related field preferred.
• Experience in recruiting or talent acquisition.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple open positions and competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage full recruitment lifecycle from sourcing to onboarding.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and profiles.
• Develop and post engaging job descriptions across boards and social media.
• Source candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, networking and referrals.
• Review resumes and conduct initial screenings (phone/video).
• Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
• Maintain regular communication with candidates and provide company information.
• Track candidates and maintain ATS records.
• Assist with background checks, offers, and pre-employment requirements.
• Build a strong pipeline for current and future openings.
• Support employer branding and recruitment initiatives.
