Job summary

Intuitive is a global leader in robotic-assisted surgery, transforming care with da Vinci and Ion systems. The Finance Data Product Analyst will own FP&A analytics across GLTD, Revenue, CapEx, and HC portfolios, ensuring fast, accurate handoffs to the onsite senior analyst and engineering teams.

You will validate data, document requirements, and coordinate across onsite/offshore teams while shaping AI-enabled analytics for finance workflows.

Qualifications

• 4 years of experience in BI analysis, data product analysis, or finance analytics support roles.
• Strong understanding of FP&A concepts — GL, revenue, CapEx, headcount, cost centers.
• SQL proficiency to query and validate data across EDW layers.
• Experience with requirements gathering, documentation, and cross-team translation.
• Familiarity with Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms from an analyst view.
• Experience with Tableau or similar BI tools for validation and analysis.
• Clear written and verbal communication for coordinating across time zones.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the FP&A analytics liaison for requirements intake and prioritization across GLTD, Revenue, CapEx, and HC.
• Translate business needs into technical specs and data model requirements for engineering handoff.
• Own the requirements-to-engineering handoff process to reduce rework.
• Perform data validation, reconciliation, and UAT support for delivered models.
• Trace data through EDW models and document root causes for engineering resolution.
• Coordinate between onsite and offshore teams and manage backlogs.
• Maintain business requirements docs, data dictionaries, and test cases.
• Support AI-augmented analytics by identifying where AI/ML adds value.
