Job summary
Odyssey Logistics is seeking a skilled Forklift Mechanic in Fullerton, CA to maintain and repair our forklift fleet, ensuring safe and efficient operation. The role centers on preventive maintenance and diagnostics, with roughly 70% of work dedicated to forklift upkeep for a fleet of about 30 units in Fullerton.
Onsite, Monday–Friday 7:00 am–3:30 pm, with no travel requirements. A pre-employment background check and drug screening are required; forklift certification is preferred but not
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of recent forklift mechanic experience preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and related equipment repair experience considered if willing to learn forklift maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs on forklifts and related equipment.
- Work on propane and electric forklifts, pallet jacks, and various manufacturers.
- Diagnose mechanical issues and complete repairs safely and efficiently.
- Complete work orders with accurate labor time and parts used.
- Maintain organized tools, parts, and work areas.
- Communicate maintenance and safety issues with management and Safety Department.
