Job summary

Hyster-Yale Materials Handling, Inc. is seeking a Site Service Technician (Day shift) based at our Springhill, TN location.

You will perform onsite repairs, inspections and basic maintenance on forklift fleets, using hand tools and general computer tasks. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, 0–5 years of relevant experience, and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment, with flexibility for off-hours to support the Spring Hill fleet.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and oral communication skills are required.
• Entry-level understanding of mechanical and electrical (AC and DC) troubleshooting skills.
• Basic mechanical skills including electrical diagrams and hydraulic systems.
• Must be motivated, and willing and able to work safely in high pressure environments.
• Able to adapt to project changes and handle multiple tasks.
• Work well within a team or independently with minimal supervision.
• Must be flexible for off-hours to support the Spring Hill Fleet.

Responsibilities

• Onsite Repair: Identify Issues. Suggest Improvement. Repair forklift trucks.
• Onsite Inspection: Perform physical inspection of the complete fleet every two weeks and process paperwork; escalate safety concerns.
• Lift equipment as needed up to 55 lbs; perform maintenance and general computer tasks.
