Job summary

Elior North America is seeking an experienced QA Tech for the Traditions division in Pearl, MS. This on-site role supports the QA team as the eyes and ears on the floor, ensuring all tasks are completed with a focus on quality and safety.

The position requires standing and lifting up to 50 pounds, strong attention to detail, and good math and communication skills. Join a team dedicated to safe, high-quality meals.

Qualifications

• Reading, writing and oral proficiency in English.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks using time and task management skills.
• Excellent communication and organization skills.
• Excellent attention to details and math aptitude.
• Standing, walking and bending throughout the day with lifting 30–50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Conduct continuous weight checks on meals and meal components, documenting results.
• Monitor and keep records of critical control points of HACCP plan.
• Perform and keep records of metal detection, startup line audits and sanitation standards.
• Calibrate scales and thermometers.
• Promote and observe GMPs and SSOPs in the facility.
• Comply with FDA and USDA regulations and USDA/FSIS inspectors’ requests.
• Monitor food safety practices, visual quality standards and regulatory compliance.
• Document conformance to BOMs and specifications throughout the facility.
• Take corrective actions when deviations occur.
• Follow Hold procedures when placing or removing product from hold.
• Collect samples of meals for microbiological analysis and product cuttings.
