Responsibilities

• Perform physical inspections and analytical testing for food safety and product quality in accordance with established procedures.
• Conduct quality control checks including sensory evaluations, seal integrity, date code verification, metal detection monitoring, weight checks, and label accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, proper housekeeping, and company policies; place products on hold as needed and follow hold procedures for quality and food safety concerns.
• Provide feedback and initiate corrective actions when non-conformance issues are identified.
• Conduct pre-operational inspections of equipment and processing environments at the start of each shift or during changeovers, including ATP and allergen testing.
• Collect and maintain retain samples for shelf-life evaluation.
• Calibrate and maintain lab equipment in accordance with established schedules.
• Accurately complete all required documentation and support smooth shift transitions through verbal and written communication.
• Assist in training new QC Technicians on quality procedures and expectations.
• Perform additional tasks as directed by Quality Management.

Position Summary:
