Job summary

Medcor is seeking an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide comprehensive primary care and occupational health at our on-site clinic in Marshall, Minnesota. This role emphasizes independent practice with remote oversight, combining in-person and telemedicine visits to serve employees and their dependents.

You’ll manage preventive care, acute and chronic conditions, and occupational health services, with a four-day workweek and no nights or on-call

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) or ARC-PA-accredited PA program.
• Active, unrestricted state license as NP or PA.
• Board certification as NP or PA.
• Pediatric capability for ages 5+ within scope.
• Current DEA registration.
• Current BLS and CPR certification.
• Minimum two years post-licensure independent primary care experience.
• Experience with electronic medical records and clinical technology.
• Strong clinical judgement and critical-thinking.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work independently with remote oversight.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care via in-person and telemedicine visits.
• Assess, diagnose, and treat acute illnesses and minor injuries.
• Manage chronic conditions (hypertension, diabetes, asthma, obesity, etc.).
• Deliver urgent and episodic care and coordinate higher-level care.
• Perform and interpret diagnostic testing and risk assessments.
• Educate patients and provide lifestyle counseling.
• Coordinate care with primary care providers and specialists.
• Provide occupational health services and regulatory examinations.
• Manage return-to-work and workers’ compensation processes.
• Maintain timely documentation in EMR.
• Deliver direct patient care onsite while supporting clinic operations.
