Job summary

Medcor is seeking an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our employer-based clinic in Marshall, Minnesota. The onsite provider will deliver comprehensive primary care and occupational health services through a mix of in-person and telemedicine visits, with a four‑day workweek and no nights, weekends, or on‑call duties.

Qualifications

• MSN, DNP, or ARC-PA accredited PA master's degree.
• Active, unrestricted state license as NP or PA.
• Board certification as NP or PA.
• Education/certification to independently evaluate/treat pediatric patients (ages 5+)

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care via in-person and telemedicine visits.
• Diagnose and treat acute illnesses and minor injuries in adults and children (5+)
• Manage chronic conditions (HTN, diabetes, obesity, lipids, etc.)
• Deliver urgent/episodic care and coordinate higher level care as needed
• Conduct point-of-care testing and other diagnostics
• Educate patients and coach on wellness, nutrition, tobacco cessation, and prevention
• Coordinate care with other providers and safety programs
• Support occupational health services and regulatory exams
• Return-to-work and workers’ comp collaboration with client/TPA
• Document accurately in Medcor EMR and maintain records
