Job summary

Boeing South Carolina (BSC) is seeking an Experienced Flight Readiness Technician Inspector (FRTI) Level C to support the Flight Line Quality Family in North Charleston on a variable shift. You will verify and inspect final component installations, perform preflight and post‑flight checks, troubleshoot issues on live aircraft, and document non‑conformances.

A strong commitment to aircraft safety and quality is essential in this onsite role.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in quality inspection and/or auditing.
• 3+ years of flight line operations experience.
• 3+ years of experience in a team environment.
• 3+ years of experience using Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Must be able to work any shift based on the needs of the operation.

Responsibilities

• Performs verification and inspection of flight component installation and operational functional testing of aircraft systems.
• Inspects and verifies troubleshooting of pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical and avionics systems to isolate mechanical and/or faults and documents faulty components.
• Conducts inspection of pre-flight and post-flight checks and performs inspections of maintenance and modification prior to delivery.
• Supports documentation of identified problems during operation and testing of deliverable products.
• Verifies the accuracy of work performed and may conduct
• Assists in performing system & sub-system pre-delivery inspections and aircraft maintenance inspections in preparation for delivery.
• Participates in determining details of assignments to accomplish a wide range of objectives.
• Plans, schedules and arranges own activities with the assistance of lead.
• Inspects, documents, and creates non-conformance records with minimal assistance.
• Must maintain all necessary certifications to perform the job.
