Avery Dennison in Peachtree City, GA is seeking a Finishing Process Engineer to join the plant engineering team. You will optimize winding processes, support day-to-day plant operations, and drive continuous improvement to enhance safety, quality, and efficiency.

This onsite role requires collaboration with operations, maintenance, and engineering to deliver cost reductions and process enhancements. You will implement changes aligned with ISO standards, develop standard work, and lead

Qualifications

• BS in Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 2–4 years of process engineering experience in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of SPC, DOE and FMEA with statistical analysis experience.
• Strong project management, teamwork and change leadership skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to work with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Winding performance and equipment optimization across products and trials.
• Identify and execute site process improvement projects for safety and quality.
• Apply SPC, DOE and FMEA to improve capabilities and resolve issues.
• Collaborate with Maintenance and Coating Engineers to improve material quality.
• Document changes, update standard work, and support ISO 9001:2015 compliance.
