Job summary

Avery Dennison is seeking a Finishing Process Engineer at our Peachtree City, GA facility. The role focuses on optimizing finishing processes in a onsite manufacturing setting, supporting day-to-day operations and driving safety and quality improvements.

Work with Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering to implement continuous improvement projects, improve product quality, and reduce costs while expanding process capabilities. Requires strong communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering (or related field).
• 2–4 years of process engineering experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with SPC, DOE, and FMEA.
• Strong project management and cross-functional leadership.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and optimize winding performance across products and trials.
• Identify, prioritize and execute site process improvement projects.
• Apply SPC, DOE and FMEA to improve process and product capabilities.
• Collaborate with maintenance and technicians to ensure equipment reliability.
• Document changes and training per ISO 9001:2015 standards.
