Job summary

Kodiak Gas Services, Inc. is seeking an Intermediate Field Service Technician to operate compressor packages, gas processes, and rental equipment at customer sites in Colorado.

This role requires diagnosing and repairing equipment with a focus on reliability and customer service. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with compression systems, electrical troubleshooting skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with customers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• SSE program completion or 1-2 years in an entry-level field technician role preferred.
• 3+ years of compression process, production, and equipment-related experience and/or training.
• Electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of compressor packages and related systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Directs and performs field activities per Kodiak procedures and goals.
• Troubleshoot complex repairs and major equipment overhauls and operation.
• Builds and maintains strong customer relationships.
• Analyzes parts and inventory to ensure sufficient supplies with Supply Chain.
• Maintain 98% or better mechanical availability of equipment.
• Provide 24/7 coverage and participate in on-call rotations and overtime.
