Job summary

Kodiak Gas Services LLC is seeking an entry-level technician to assist in running one or more compression jobs, operating compressor packages and equipment, and supporting policy and forecasts for location operations.

The role involves learning through on-site training, maintaining equipment, providing 24/7 coverage, and supporting safety and reporting requirements. Strong mechanical aptitude and teamwork are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Some knowledge of gas processes and compressor platforms preferred.
• Completion of Kodiak SSE program is preferred.
• Familiarity with Waukesha, Ariel, or Caterpillar compressors helpful.
• Basic English reading/writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks to support operation of compressor packages and equipment.
• Troubleshoot basic issues and learn troubleshooting on the job and in training.
• Attend and participate in HSE meetings and follow HSE protocols.
• Communicate needs with Supply Chain based on parts and inventory analysis.
• Maintain assigned units in clean and presentable condition.
• Provide 24/7 coverage, including overtime and on-call as required.
• Complete reports as required by operating procedures.
