Job summary

Stryker is seeking a Field Service Technician – Communications to deliver on-site service for a range of medical technology and communications equipment at customer sites in the United States. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain devices, train staff as needed, and document service activities with accuracy.

You will work with hospital staff and biomedical personnel, ensuring safe and compliant operation.

Qualifications

2 years of installation or production line experience with Stryker Communications or 2-3 years industry field service experience.
High School Diploma or GED required.
Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
Must communicate with surgeons, hospital staff, nurses and biomedical personnel.
PC literate; MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

Perform field service, troubleshooting, repairs, maintenance, and quality checks on Stryker Communications equipment at customer sites.
Follow written procedures for mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
Manage service calls from initial issue through resolution and maintain accurate documentation.
Partner with Operations, R&D, and internal teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges.
Communicate effectively with customers and healthcare professionals, including hospital staff.
