Job summary

Raymond Central in Jackson, TN is seeking a Field Service Technician to service forklifts, pallet jacks and racking systems at customer sites. This is a full-time, hourly role with potential overtime based on customer needs.

You will diagnose, repair and perform preventive maintenance, complete required paperwork, and keep tools and records organized. The position offers competitive pay, PTO, medical/dental/vision, retirement matching, tuition reimbursement and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Two years of hands-on technical experience with mechanical, hydraulic, and/or electrical components.
• HS Diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb ladders or work on elevated platforms (15’–30’).

Responsibilities

• Maintain, service, and support material handling equipment at the customer location.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair forklifts and other equipment per guidelines.
• Perform preventive maintenance on assigned equipment per procedures and cost guidelines.
• Complete all required paperwork and time records accurately.
• Account for all parts, materials, tools, and consumables used as required.
• Drive and work safely according to company and customer safety policies.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with customers and co-workers.
• Maintain the van’s interior equipment, storage devices, service manuals and related documents.
• Attend meetings, training classes and other company activities as required.
• Keep an adequate set of personal tools as required.
• Work with all departments to ensure high quality customer service.
