Job summary

Raymond Central is hiring a Field Service Technician to support forklift and equipment maintenance on-site at one of our largest customers in Memphis, TN. You will diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on material-handling equipment and manage required paperwork and tools.

This full-time, hourly position requires strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to read schematics and manuals. Schedule is Wednesday 12:00–18:00 and Thursday–Saturday 6:00–18:00, with opportunities for

Qualifications

• Requires strong mechanical aptitude and basic electrical knowledge.
• Ability to read schematics, diagrams, manuals, and specs.
• Experience in industrial maintenance, automotive, or heavy equipment industries.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, service, and support material handling equipment at the customer site.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair forklifts and other equipment per guidelines.
• Perform preventive maintenance per procedures and cost guidelines.
• Complete paperwork and time records accurately.
• Account for parts, tools, and consumables used.
• Drive safely and follow safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain positive working relationships with customers and coworkers.
• Attend meetings and training sessions as required.
• Keep personal tools as required.
• Collaborate with all departments to ensure high quality service.

Skills

Strong mechanical aptitude

Industrial electricity knowledge

Ability to read schematics

Reading operation manuals

Experience in industrial maintenance

Experience in automotive/heavy eq.
